Stories are strange creatures which need temporary housing before they take up residence inside a reader.  Few are straightforward creatures which are simply conveyors of a narrative with a beginning, middle and end. Rather they are worth consideration, and more than that – they are worth being playful with.

Play is important. It is the means by which breathing creatures such as ourselves enliven our relationships with other creatures, whether breathing or non-breathing; it is a conversation in which all participants are animated and through which creation dances and brings a living music into being.
